A label cannot assume that an artist's sample source is cleared merely because a subscription was paid. Licence scope, exclusivity and Content ID restrictions still need review.

Request licence evidence with release assets and flag uncertain material before delivery. Keep a record that links each third-party asset to the recording using it.
Keep a release-ready rights record
Store licences and agreements with the project rather than leaving them in separate conversations. Identify who can approve the recording, composition and artwork. Record territory or usage restrictions in plain language. Where the agreement or law is unclear, get advice from a qualified professional before making the release public.
