A bass sample is useful when its pitch, envelope and texture fit the arrangement. A large free download is not automatically cleared for every commercial use.
Put it into practice
Check the source licence, tune the sample and shape its decay around the kick. This guide does not promise a download pack that is not actually supplied.
Check the finished deliverable
Keep the original session and compare the final export with your approved reference. Listen from start to finish, including transitions and the tail. Check that the file you upload is the intended version, not an earlier bounce with a similar name. If the release needs a specialist format, get the delivery specification before the final export.
