Send a clean mix and clear references. Compare outputs at matched loudness and choose based on translation, dynamics and revision needs rather than the processing label.
Check the finished deliverable
Keep the original session and compare the final export with your approved reference. Listen from start to finish, including transitions and the tail. Check that the file you upload is the intended version, not an earlier bounce with a similar name. If the release needs a specialist format, get the delivery specification before the final export.
